Ralph Lauren Polos are heavily hit by counterfeiters. This is the third counterfeit I have inadvertently purchased. In all of the fakes, the logo is poorly made, always the clear plastic of the logo sticker is visible.
I do also get the geranium, jasmine and chamomile. In fact, everything is well balanced and well blended. I can see this as a year round fragrance, but probably best suited to polo dress shirts the cooler type of weather, especially spring, where it reminds me of a crisp, spring morning, with dew still on the grass. This is like walking through a cool pine forest.
It becomes more evident on clothes as the day goes by. I’m reminded of how my clothes smelled when I was a smoker. It’s also a very nostalgic smell and, yes, I would also dub it a “dad smell”, if there was such a thing.
I love it but you have to be in the right mood and the right state of mind for this, a old school swagger. It defiantly Polo Ralph Lauren t shirt has a wisened gentlemanly feel too it. Like a old library or cigar bar or antique store kind of vibe.

In America today, and sadly enough, there seems to be an abundance of outlandish apparel and accessories available to male consumers. These offerings have flooded the retail market with obnoxious items that seemingly move men out of their comfort style zone and into unchartered distasteful territory.
I tried the new version of the original, which is needless to say, very very different. Fresh, earthy, spicy scent wrapped in dried tobacco leaves created for the MAN of the 70’s and 80’s, I used to wear more in cooler summer days. Whenever I get a new green juice scent first thing comes to mind is this Polo green. Don’t listen to the reviewers harping on and on about how superior previous versions are .
