A good quality fragrance and very pleasant. If I did not have so many tuberose fragrances already, I would definitely purchase this one. It does often come off as very synthetic I’ve found, but it’s blended so nicely with the white florals in this that I can actually say that I like it.
It has a warm s tuberose scent to it and then either Vanilla or some other sweet scent thrown in. I probably won’t buy a full bottle but a travel or roller ball of this. I have dabbled with Ralph Lauren fragrances in the past, but I think Woman is my favorite offering so far from that house.
In a way it reminds me of Gucci Bloom, but with a slightly fruitier note, the pear, and that cuddly softness of the hazelnut, all without verging into the gourmand realm. So, after testing this right around a year ago, I finally got a bottle. Pear can be tricky on my skin or smell too aquatic but here it just tamps the tuberose down a bit. Of course, I’ve been wearing Lady Diana a lot, which is rhubarb forward, so that may be why I don’t get any.
Yes it’s linear but it lasts just long enough for you to enjoy it throughout your day. It’s easy to wear daily and something one can sport to the work place and to anywhere you go in your day to day life. I’m in my 30s so I tend to go for more sophisticated fragrances now. This one is not terribly sophisticated but to me it’s not boring at all.
I just don’t love the opening scent, too cloyingly sweet. However not sure if it suit me I mean it is lovely and i love the scent but something about the smell makes me wanna puke. Rarely wear it but I do get compliment whenever I wear it. Beloved for their chic style, Polo Ralph Lauren clothing makes the ideal companion to any look. Crisp, clean white shirt, navy jeans & loafers. Definitely can be worn dressed up or down. Sweet but has a sophistication I cannot explain.
I have Royal Hawaiian Tuberose cologne that I bought in Maui and the opening is similar. The RH perfume stays the same, it’s just Tuberose but RL Woman is unique and has many layers. RL perfumes have never lasted long on my skin, and this is no exception. What starts off as a fresh Polo Ralph Lauren t shirt pretty white floral just lands on flat woods. A review mentions Chloe’ EDP, which may be what I’m smelling which catches in the back of my throat like a slight raspy quality. This is part of the silage quality of a fragrance where it stands out from the skin several inches.
I can get away with wearing this for pretty much any occasion and for many parts of the year. Plus, I am always receiving compliments when I wear this. Definitely will be keeping this in my collection for a while.
