One caveat – for the price, longevity and sillage aren’t impressive. Perhaps not appalling, but not great either. The delightful Kummba oil I tested the same day far outperformed in both categories. This said, I can’t complain loudly, as this is true of nearly all recent mainstream releases. As others have stated, and I agree I don’t think it’s worth paying full price for it unless you really really love it.

It’s modern, but not a LVEB / Black Opium / generic overpriced pink liquid kind of modern. This is for a woman who’s grabbing life by the balls. Most woody fragrances I tried have been quite masculine but this Polo Ralph Lauren t shirt is feminine power in a bottle. Fluffy white flowers topped with a sparkling dash of fruits. Its feathery soft and creamy, so sophisticated and suitable for a woman of any age and in any season, day or night.
I bought a sample and honestly, it’s just a very basic, blah, bland white floral. Absolutely nothing special about it and nothing that would make it/me memorable in polo dress shirts any way. I prefer strong/loud perfumes so this just doesn’t fit for me. Maybe for someone who is shy and doesn’t want to be noticed but still wants to smell pretty.
Wearing a sample I had gotten a couple days now, this is just beautiful. There is something nostalgic feeling in the mix here, but manages to feel modern as well. It lasts so long on me and Ian so strong and beautiful. It reminds me of Dior poison girl but lasts longer .

Something similar with Burberry perfumes. At first sniff this was a promising light bubblegummy tuberose but the longer the scent stayed on my skin the more sour it turned.
Towards the heart, it becomes ever so slightly sweet, which will be sure to appeal to the current market. The dry-down is a very safe blend of softened pear, orange blossom and sandalwood. To me, smells like a clean, mature woman. I get pear and rhubarb most of the way through. It isn’t unpleasant but isn’t anything special either. I think I’d enjoy it more if the top notes were more in balance with the middle and base notes, as I definitely prefer it after it’s been mellowing for a good while.
Very classy beautiful scent, I’ll be taking it into fall. They say golden themed fragrances are marketed to a more ‘mature’ audience and I’m sure that’s the intent, ralph lauren t shirt though in this case I have to say Woman appears to me rather ageless. Not old fashioned or heavy in any way, yet warm and welcoming and oh-so feminine.
Finding a new scent tends to be a challenge for me but not this time. So I went to the wrist test and walked around and shopped for a little while longer. I continued to love this scent on me and even as it evolved and settled in I still loved it . I’m wearing it as I sit here in the winter doldrums and it cheers me up and amazingly it doesn’t turn or disappear on me like many scents do. To me this scent is soft, sexy and like a taking a nice deep breath on a sunny spring day.
