It’s very pretty, sweet, floral, woodsy and quite wearable. Matches with casual clothing or semi formal blouses and dresses. When i was at the mall 2-3 months ago i was sniffing my way around the perfume counters with a sales associate tailing me trying to sell me on certain frags. She held up RL woman and told me to try it and i politely declined. I hadn’t smelled anything that i loved by RL since Ralph when i was 18. I had gotten a magazine with the insert inside and decided to smell it without being pressured to buy it.
I just got this today after sampling at Ulta. I love RL perfumes and i liked Woman enough to snag a tester bottle at a great price online. It opens with pure tuberose and dries down to a sweeter creamy nutty scent. It has decent sillahe and longevity too.
I also don’t get a distinct hazelnut, more wood on my skin. On my skin I get soft, mild Tuberose and warm woodsy notes, an airy sweet not as well – maybe the pear/rhubarb-mix. I might buy a bottle – I think this scent will be at its best in springtime. It is not really new as composition but it satisfies my recent passion for creamy white florals, without being too voluptuous and without that critical indolic note.
I usually blind buy full bottles of fragrances but i decided to sample this one first and I’m glad i did. I was reading other people’s reviews and my standards were set too high for this polo dress shirts one. This has a sour candy smell at first which has to be the rhubarb. This note makes the fragrance different and interesting, but I don’t think I want to smell like a jolly rancher.
Wearing a sample I had gotten a couple days now, this is just beautiful. There is something nostalgic feeling in the mix here, but manages to feel modern as well. It lasts so long on me and Ian so strong and beautiful. It reminds me of Dior poison girl but lasts longer .
Ralph Lauren perfumes are normally so boring or generic but this is like crack in a bottle. I love both, and I think RL Woman will become polo dress shirts a classic. I’m hoping for a wintery/intense/absolu version, maybe with the hazelnut note really amped up as I cannot smell it here.
Very pretty tuberose forward fragrance on my skin. It seems well balanced with the fruits and woody notes. Very easy to wear, classy, sophisticated, and should work well for people who like white florals. The tuberose is bright and creamy, not Polo Ralph Lauren t shirt indolic. The longevity on my skin is not fantastic, but it lasts a few hours and the fruity notes become more prominent as time passes. I like the brightness that the rhubarb brings to the fragrance, it keeps it fresh and not too sweet.
As far as florals go this one is quite lovely if inoffensive, uncomplicated, and rather innocent as well. This Ralph Lauren Woman is quite young but over 18, under 30, inexperienced but getting there. The flowers fade into the background and then you detect hazelnut and woodsy notes. The wood is not big and in fact it’s quite clean, a tad soapy and a good finish to a simple scent. This smells like a more mature version of Britney Spear’s Curious. The pear and tuberose notes really stand out to me in both fragrances.
