Cuisinart 22 Outdoor Griddle

There are two-burner control knobs on the front of the griddle. They’re used to ignite the griddle and control the temperature. The griddle has four wheels so it can easily be moved around. You don’t want to scrape off the coat of cooked-on oil. You just want to scrape off any brown bits that cook onto the top.

Besides not having to worry about smaller food pieces falling through a grate, the flat top and lid help keep juices in and food moist. Pus, you can open the cover vent to release steam and adjust the moisture content too. Cleanup is also a consideration when choosing a grill. A grease management system that can be easily removed for cleanup keeps messes to a minimum. Porcelain-coated grates can be wiped off with a paper towel. If you’ve ever tried to start a grill that doesn’t have a more advanced ignition system, you know how frustrating it can be.

Awkward it may be, but that’s a clever design, with the drip catcher angled to funnel everything down a single drain into a grease cup. On the left of the griddle, a fold-out cooking CGWM-081 Clermont Pellet Grill & Smoker Cover prep side table is convenient for holding condiments and staging ingredients while you cook. The side table has a paper towel holder underneath and tool hooks on the edge.

Please read our Shipping and Delivery policy for more information. The Cuisinart 360 griddle is great for cooking much food as you can have an assistant on the other side to manage the food that is a bit harder to reach from your side. Aside from the cabinet or compartment underneath the griddles, other accessories come with these griddles that can ease your cooking experience. All food came out great and cleaning the grills was not as hard as they might put it out to be. Nonetheless, both griddles were able to cook food just the way I wanted them to. The only way the food will escape from this griddle is by the grease drip on the backside of the griddle.

Regularly check that the flow of combuson and venlaon air is not obstructed. I liked being able to maneuver around the griddle while cooking. The griddle gets extremely hot, and it’s nice not having to reach over the top of it while cooking.

If you forget to clean your griddle and rust builds up, dont worry! It can be fixed, see our guide here to reviving a rusty griddle. A light cleaning after each use will help prevent rust and keep the surface of your griddle well-oiled. Regular cleanings will save you a great deal of time and effort. As your griddle heats up, you may notice that it appears discolored.

It took me about 5 rounds of seasoning to get a good color and nice non-stick surface but it works great now. I’ve used it probably 7-8 times so far and I love it. It seems well made and I think it will last a while if taken care of. I also picked up the Cuisinart cover for it for about $25 and it is good quality, not one of those cheap vinyl covers. The Cuisinart griddle also features a leg design that sets it apart from other griddles. Its curved legs feature wheels that allow the user to maneuver it as a stand-alone grill or fold them in to convert to a tabletop model.

To make it operate as a smoker, you can add a foil pouch with wood chips on the griddle. You’re not going to be able to smoke a brisket, but you can add smoke meats you cook. Griddles are great for cooking up skirt steak and sauteing veggies, and because the 360 XL is so XL, I even had room to cook up Mexican street corn and heat up the tortillas. That’s good to keep in mind, because as you cook on the griddle, you can move food that’s mostly cooked to this section to keep warm. When Cuisinart designed this, they must have talked to a few chefs. It has two large shelves that are perfect for holding trays of food before or after they go on the griddle.

The Cuisinart 360 XL griddle is great as I could cook almost anything in it and I did not have to stay in place. The circular griddle is pretty large but I did not have to struggle to reach it. These griddles come in basically assembled but you have some assembly to do especially with the Cuisinart.
