Another wgreat G Shock, in my opinion, anyway, is the GDX-6900, the XL version of the DW6900. The GDX has a 10-year battery, and the size is fine for my wrist. I have the blacked-out version, and have no problem reading the negative display. I think it’s a discontinued model, but it’s a really nice watch and a great addition to my collection. G-Shock is the ultimate “bang for the buck” watch, but that’s especially true for the cheaper models.
In real-life situations, however, there is no difference between a G-Shock with the plastic inner case and a G-Shock with the stainless steel DLC coated one.
