Intex Purespa Inflatable Hot Tubs

First, my last review was incorrect in saying you could see the heater unit that deters coil buildup, you cannot. I found out that the spa cover has a check valve type of inflation opening like a quality air mattress so air does not escape when you stop inflating. I will continue to search why it becomes softer as though it is losing air (?), it may be that it loses air until it reaches proper air pressure (?). It maintained temp easily at setpoint and most of time did not have the heater was not running.

Plan to replace it every five years or so unless you rarely use it. Some inflatable hot tubs are built for up to four people, while others can seat six. You can sit on the tub walls of the PureSpa Plus and barely notice any give. If you didn’t already know it was an inflatable hot tub, you might actually be surprised because of how solid the walls get when fully inflated.

No special equipment necessary that is not included. The set comes with a carry bag so you can put it away easily when not in use or bring the intex baby float spa system with you when you travel. The filter pump is capable of filtering over two complete tub volumes per hour, which is also good.

However, on Amazon, the Intex PureSpa Greywood Deluxe has attracted over 780 user reviews, generating an average rating of 4.4 out of 5 stars. If you choose to take your Pure Spa down and store it for part of the year, it’s quick and easy to do so. It will take about an hour for the water to drain out. You need to leave the spa inflated until it has dried completely before putting it in the storage bag. The installation of the Intex Pure Spa couldn’t be any easier. It only took one person about ten minutes to set up.

All Intex hot tubs are built to provide 68 degrees Fahrenheit to 104 degrees Fahrenheit of heat to its users. The Intex PureSpa Plus has four real spa jets creating an authentic spa experience. If you are looking for a luxurious spa experience that compares to a fixed tub, then its price is justified.

Hard hot tubs have the hardware inside the tub shell cabinet that is insulated from outside air, whereas the Intex has the hardware outside the tub. The primary cost of an inflatable hot tub is the actual unit itself, as no professional installation is necessary. However, you should also consider the ongoing costs, which are primarily electricity costs for heating, filter replacement costs, and water treatment chemicals. The Greywood Deluxe is constructed from Fiber-Tech materials. This means that, despite it being an inflatable design, the outside wouldn’t collapse inwards if you were to perch on the rim.

The model also features a puncture-resistant laminated 3 ply material that helps extend the lifetime of the hot tub. With the right care, this Intex hot tub will last for a couple of years. With the built-in pump, the jacuzzi will inflate in just a few minutes; however, heating up the cold water can take up to 12 hours, depending on how cold the intex frame pool weather is. To speed up the heating time, you can choose to add some hot water when you first fill it up. You can also use the insulated cover to speed up the required time to heat the water and also keep the heat in. When the water reaches your desired temperature, you can remove the cover, enter the tub, turn the massage system, and relax.

It’s fast and easy to install and you don’t need an expert to set it up for you. You will receive a package that includes several units so you are aware of the different parts that you need to install. It comes with a DVD that will provide you with clear and easy-to-follow instructions to properly set up your spa.

The bubbles work great but if you keep it indoors, I would not fill it to the max line as it bubbles out. If you want to fit four comfortably, I would suggest the larger tub. The Deluxe Models of the Intex PureSpa line have a luxurious Onyx Black finish, which feels much more high end than the Sahara Tan finish of the base models. The color of the hot tub is relatively unimportant compared to the functionality, but aesthetics do matter!
