Lancome Perfume

I own several Lancôme perfumes and so naturally had to try this one from my sister’s collection. Got those three in my collection, but I tend to like Gucci Envy Me more since the pineapple peppery tone sets it apart from the other two. Nice fresh perfume, reminds me of Avon Treselle I used to love when I was younger but more sophisticated and better sillage. I imagine this perfume to be like a “daughter” of Estee Lauder Pleasures, like this is one facet of the flower bomb that Pleasures is. Today I bought for my third bottles of this perfume in my life LOL.

Brands have been able to forecast trends after witnessing what was happening in the Asian market, which overall, recovered more quickly from the pandemic than the western world. “The fact that consumers have switched their mindset and are willing to buy makeup online opens opportunities,” Depraeter-Montacel said. More than what makeup people are buying, it’s where they’re buying it that has changed. “The pandemic genifique helped reset and reignite the opportunity for this excitement around new launches and new brands and new opportunities of usage to come about,” said Salcedo. But even as consumers warm to the idea of foundation and lipstick again, their habits have changed since before the pandemic, both in what they’re buying and how they’re buying it. Brands are adapting their assortments and strategies accordingly.

I feel somewhat bored of it at the moment, but it’s a nice inoffensive day smell, I will be wearing it again in spring and summer. I used to try on this perfume when I used to live with my parents and had access to my stepmother’s vanity (haha!). I liked the scent but it took me a while to get my own bottle as I didn’t want to smell like my stepmother. Anyway, I eventually moved out four years ago and after getting Estee Lauder makeup Tresor In Love (which is so fruity and oriental!) I decided to get Miracle, which is a little spicy. I tend to gravitate towards fragrances that are citrusy and oriental, this would be my first spicy-floral scent, if any. It reminds me of a calm spring afternoon and walking along the scenic coast of Waiheke Island.

Litchi is one of my favorite notes, and I notice a lot of perfumes I love have amber in them. I’m noticing a pattern with magnolia and freesia as well as notes I like. I’m genifique not a big fan of ginger but it gives this more interest. Maybe it’s the pink pepper another note I think I might like even less. But either way I think I like it here.

There is just something so fresh and sweet about this fragrance. It always feels right (i.e. night, day, summer, winter). Inoffensive, it’s appropriate for any occasion, but it still smells special. It makes me feel very clean and pretty. This smells like the first decade of the 2000s to me.

There is not enough pepper, not enough of the fresh spicy notes in Miracle. Perhaps Miracle has been reformulated? Well, if I am to judge Miracle on its own merit, it is lovely non the less. Smells like slightly powdered woody floral. The contents of the Lancome holiday 2021 set are worth a staggering $440, although it could all be yours for just $75 (as long as you make another qualifying Lancome purchase of $42 or more). And with so many other skincare, makeup and fragrance products on their site, it won’t be hard to fill up your basket with goodies.
