Its project was started in 1949 by Armand Petitjean, founder of Lancôme, and represents a crystal smile. It took more than a year for the effect to be achieved, creating the impression of a smile. Lancôme is the type of company that usually launches great Estee Lauder NIGHT REPAIR fragrances, which become a sales success, every five years or so. We have, for example, Trésor , Poême , Miracle , Hypnose , among others. It´s beautiful and it offers also very good flankers in the pipeline. Projection and Longevity are awesome.

It’s got me a lot more positive comments than any of my other perfumes and I’ve only had the sample for a week. Can’t believe I’m saying this but I might have to get a full bottle. I ADORED this perfume back in the day, I’m talking summer 2013 when I was just a teen, I discovered this perfume and felt like it changed my life. Sweet Estee Lauder makeup and sensual vanilla, blackcurrant and pear. However I’m 26 now and I don’t really see the appeal, I bought it again but I get a headaches from it.

This being said, it’s important to mention that the smell of this perfume does greatly depend on one’s skin chemistry, so it might end up smelling like a very unique scent on you. Like many, I dismissed LVEB years ago as generic and cloying (there’s an old review from me somewhere deep down below). I have some curiosity about the flankers but thought perhaps I should revisit the OG and see how I really feel about it since I’ve been delving deep into the perfume world lately. True, I think you have to like sweet fragrances to enjoy this, but I happen to love sweetness in perfumes. Praline is one of my favorite notes.
It’s definitely a “cold weather fragrance”, otherwise it would be too heavy and cloying during the warm seasons. It’s not super sweet, I’d say it’s well-balanced- it has a hint of woodiness, sweetness, some floral notes, a bit powdery too. I dismissed this fragrance for a long time as ‘basic’.
Maybe not room filling, but it will be noticed just walking past someone. Because of the performance, I would caution against overspraying Estee Lauder makeup or you will choke out some people. One is a nice intimate fragrance with minimal sillage and four is pretty powerful and projects all day.
