La Vie Est Belle Lancome Perfume

Most modern day designer fragrances do NOT match nor out-perform LVEB. My story with this fragrance began in high school. My mom had it and I used to decant some into a tiny spray bottle. I became the girl who always smelled amazing, and you could smell me from miles away! Since then, I’ve felt naked whenever I’m without La Vie Est Belle. This could have been a nice dumb-reach if it wasn’t for the nostril torching sweetness.

Powdery and delicate with a little bit of pear that makes me think of a couple other “big” scents with pear in them. Both arms get a bit fruity at times and each are consistent with vanilla. This gourmand yet elegant composition is developed by perfumers Olivier Polge, Dominique Ropion and Anne Flipo.

At the core of this fragrance stands the noblest and iconic perfume ingredient, the rose. With four roses, Idole’s modern, radiant, youthful rose is revealed. Jasmine absolutes accompany this unique rose scent for a clean, intense softness which blooms gracefully.

It has something cheap in the base, but the performance is good I have to say. Now the crowds have moved on to BR450 / Cloud and the like, but still I wouldn’t wear this. I prefer other popular choices such as Flowerbomb and Black Opium. How people think these are similar beats me.

This Maison Francis Kurkdjian creation quickly rose to fragrance fame (and reached Holy Grail status with GH’s beauty director), thanks to its irresistible, head-turning aroma. It’s the most unique mix of jasmine, cedar, and amber that’s warm, sensual, and strong yet somehow soft — totally addictive andthe kind of signature scent people stop and ask about. Known as a premium French luxury cosmetics and perfumes brand, Lancôme Paris undertakes distribution of its products globally. It falls under the division of L’Oréal Luxury Products, its parent company. Lancôme offers products such as fragrances, skin care, makeup, all at high-end prices.

La Vie Est Belle by Lancome is a Floral Fruity Gourmand fragrance for women. La Vie Est Belle was launched in 2012. La Vie Est Belle was created by Olivier Polge, Dominique Ropion and Anne Flipo. Top notes are Black Currant and Pear; middle notes are iris, Jasmine and Orange Blossom; base notes are Praline, Vanilla, Patchouli and Tonka Bean. “La vie est belle,” a French expression meaning “life is beautiful,” is about choosing your own path to happiness and inspiring others. Joyous femininity is expressed through this energizing women’s perfume.

For less than $7 for the 1.7 fl oz bottle, it’s hard to resist. Idôle isn’t simply a chypre scent though. Layered at its top are notes of juicy pear and pink peppercorn. Then, a feminine jasmine note combines with a Turkish rose petal essence and a centifolia rose from France. Finally, at the bottom, white musk, vanilla, patchouli, and cedarwood anchor the perfume into something elegant, yet wearable.

It uses roses as its base, but has notes of peaches and apricots that intertwine with the roses for a lovely mixture. Another option is Miracle, a light sophisticated scent that has top notes of lychee fruit and freesia. Miracle inspires wearers to live life with purpose. POÊME is for spirited and adventurous individuals. This Lancôme fragrance uses contrast to create its alluring scent.

I think I’m just over sweet vanilla perfumes. I gave mine away to a younger family member. Loud, powerful praline – strong patchouli – delectable vanilla – suave tonka bean….and just a little iris. Yes it sounds a bit basic, especially from the standpoint of the current market but there’s something about it that makes it La Vie. If you were to wear this out, people would maybe recognize the smell because it just w o r k s. It’s not like another nameless release…this is THE LVEB. Regardless if you hate/love it, it’s still iconic.

They must have paid Julia Roberts a lot of money to endorse this because I can’t see a woman over the age of 25 wearing this. It has a very teenage vibe and is very gourmand. Estee Lauder NIGHT REPAIR The praline note in here makes it smell even more synthetic. I don’t get why fragrance companies add it, it always smells out of place in a fine fragrance.
