It does have a Bluetooth and WiFi-enabled app to view the grill and two built-in probe temperatures, but it’s not a very robust app. With 1,400 square inches of cooking area, this is a big grill. There are two levels of cooking with the top one being removable or adjustable.
There are four buttons on the panel to turn on the grill and hopper lights, to prime the auger and to power the grill on and off. S a feature I really like, because it allows me to smoke jerky and sear a steak. I love that the 12″ control panel has bright, bold numbers.
Traeger is currently the most popular pellet grill brand (here’s proof), but you probably already knew that. There are many pellet flavours including Apple, Hickory, Mapel, Oak and Walnut to name but a few. I had no clue what I was buying, I thought it was a BBQ and it totally fit out on our new patio along with it being on cuisinart soup maker clearance, win win to me.
