I was curious whwther this would be a valid alternative for somebody not beeing able to shell out nearly 1K $. For me the built in scales are essential as well as the kneading function as I am mostly using the tm for making bread. All the rest comes as a more than welcome supplement – as you wrote sauces and stuff like curds are super easy woth the tm. I guess also the temperature fine tuning from 37C to 120C comes very handy (e.g. When melting chocolate for brownies). Your machine will STOP when the time has come and you’re cooking without temperature settings. If you’re doing something hot, it will stop heating so you won’t overcook your food but the blades will go on softly so that the bottom won’t be in permanent touch with direct heat.
