For the price it’s being sold for, it should last a while, and I highly doubt it’ll last to his birthday in September. I will be contacting customer service when they reopen on Monday about this. The door also is flush with the wall of the house allowing little baby fingers to get jammed — I think the doors need to be reconsidered. The is such a cool playhouse because it is petite enough to be used indoors. We have used our playhouse inside our dining and living rooms. It creates a fun barrier for our daughter to play without the baby crawling over to her toys (and stealing them… or eating them). Little Tikes playhouses are recommended for outdoor use but can be used indoors as well. Most plastic playhouses are light enough to be lifted and carried and some are designed so that disassembly and reassembly is easy.
