Ozark Trail 10-Person Family Camping Tent with 3 Rooms and Screen Porch

This shelter may be the least expensive in our roundup, but it still packs some sweet features worth noting. Our favorite is the “storage locker” which gives you a protected place to store items like muddy shoes outside ozark trail 4 person dome tent the tent, but can also be accessed from inside using a second zipper. It’s a great spot to stash your “middle of the night bathroom break” shoes and anything else you don’t want taking up space inside the tent.

Because it’s ridiculously inexpensive, the quality, design and weather protection isn’t the best, though I think it’ll work decently in summer . The Dark Room Technology used in its design is really what adds that extra level of comfort to this 10 person tent.

It also has a nice high peak height of 88 inches, plus its side walls are vertical, so it offers a lot of livable space. The rainfly has to be in place, so the ceiling mesh will be covered. You might get a little bit of ventilation through the gap between the ceiling mesh and the rainfly, but I think it’s pretty minimal. The Ozark Trail 10-Person Tent also comes with a room divider, so you ozark trail 10 person tent can split the tent into 2 rooms, and each “room” can fit 2 queen-sized camping mattresses. The Ozark Trail 10 Person Modified Dome Tent with Screen Porch is the ideal tent for your next family camping trip. This tent features 137 square feet of living space that can be split into 3 separate rooms for privacy or used as one large community living area. The tent comfortably sleeps 10 people in sleeping bags or fits 3 queen size air beds. The roof is fully mesh and the removable rainfly can be rolled back on the sides for added ventilation or to enjoy star-gazing. This tent comes with an E-Port and media pocket to enjoy all the comforts of home.

Each of the cabin’s three rooms includes its own privacy divider, and each is large enough to fit a queen-sized mattress as well, so it’s a great option for large groups or families. Other perks of the Three Room Instant Cabin include an instant tent design with pre-attached poles for easy set-up and dual ground-level vents designed to work with a tent air conditioner. The Ozark Trail ten-person tent feels very roomy, with six different windows and a completely open mesh top for you to get breeze and stargaze at night. Luckily, there is a rain fly that covers everything and even gives you a bit of an overhang on the main entrance, providing some protection from sunlight.

This tent has worked great for us, it is spacious and pretty simple to set up. We haven’t had any issues with leaking but I suggest that you seal the seams before use to help keep the tent dry. I also suggest purchasing a cheap tarp to place under the tent to help protect the floor from roots, sticks and rocks. If you want added protection from the elements, hang a tarp above the tent to deflect any rain or small falling tree limbs. And finally, the biggest con is probably that the quality isn’t the best with the slightly sticky tent fabric, loose threads, snagging issues and inconsistent mesh.

To get into the other room, you’d have to remove the divider and then put it back up. What I don’t quite like about this divider is that it’s sheer, so not completely opaque, and also, it’s not exactly full length.

There are no fly vents but they are not necessary with such a design. Remember also its roll-back fly on each side of the roof, this provides excellent ventilation when the sky is clear. This Ozark Trail 10-Person Family Camping Tent should not be mixed with several other 10-person tents here in the site.
