I had different manufactured grill in between my first one and this one and I was never really happy with it. I got 16 years out of my first one and hope to get 16 more out of portable bbq this one. The Weber 2022 Genesis series features improved functionality and aesthetics that took a great grill line and made it better. I’m still on the fence with the idea of a smart gas grill. The smart pellet grills are nice to have because they are typically running all night on long smoke cooks but gas grills are usually short cooks. Maybe this smart functionality will change the way we cook with gas. I give kudos to Weber for updating their Flag Ship grill.
For the most part, the grilling community seems to agree that the E-310 has impressive storage, space, and overall build compared to most gas grills. I fell in love with the warming rack area as it kept my food warm. With a surface of 156 square inches, it offered plenty of space.
