It appears that businesses have decided to use inferior materials and labor knowing that appliances will be passed their warranty periods when they fail. By the way, we own a microwave that is over 15 years old i’m still working fine. I will look for another older microwave on eBay and Craigslist to replace this Hamilton Beach joke. I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING ANYTHING THAT IS HAMILTON BEACH.
