A strange omission in my mind is that there is no way or provision to hang it up for storage and charging. It cannot stand upright on its own, but it can be leaned against a wall. With that said, keep in mind that it’s about half the price of that famous English brand. In conclusion, it’s a quick, dyson robot vacuum easy and very lightweight stand up vacuum for spot jobs, and for those in-between times when you don’t want to haul out the big, corded vac. It would be easy for kids to operate to clean up spills and such. Being very lightweight also makes it a great hand vac for cars, stairs and such.

The V11 scoured our lab floors virtually spotless, picking up numerous types of dirt and debris in the process. It’s simple to operate, too, and it comes with lots of extra attachments in the box.
LED headlights on Shark vacuums illuminate the area you’re cleaning so you don’t miss anything, even in dark corners or under furniture. And as I side note, both Sharks have lights on the vacuum heads that help illuminate dirt and dust which is a feature I really like that my two Dysons don’t have. Additionally, you may choose to lightly tap excess dirt and debris from the filters into a garbage can.
While cordless options are convenient for quick cleanup, the best vacuums for heavier jobs are the more powerful, corded models, like this Armor All Utility Shop Vacuum. It comes equipped with a 10-foot power cord that’s easy to wrap and store when you’re finished. Plus, it has a brush attachment, crevice tool, detail brush and multiple nozzles .
There’s also not a designated spot for attachments, which was disappointing, so you’ll need to repurpose a box or bin to keep the attachments together in your home. The Shark cordless stick includes a crevice tool, which makes it fairly easy to reach into nooks of a room, but it isn’t as manoeuvrable in this sense as other brands such as the Vax Blade. Better suction and pick up than other vacuums at this price point. After a few uses carpets in particular are noticeably cleaner than other brands.
What’s even more impressive is that we ran these tests with a heavily used unit, and it still beat a bunch of brand-new machines. Our best guess is that you’ll get something like three to five years of good use out of a typical cordless vacuum before you need to replace an expensive part like the battery or cleaning head. We tested each vacuum on bare floors to see if it could collect large and hard debris without pushing the debris around or sending it scattering. Once you’ve gotten used to a cordless vacuum, it’s really hard to go back to using a plug-in.
