Spirit Series Gas Grills

Available in both gas and charcoal options, this is the premium line of offering. An introductory line of offering, the grills under this series comes with the iconic GS4 grilling, ignition, 10-year warranty, and flavorizer bars that prevent flare-ups. The characteristic feature of these grills is their affordability, intelligent design and size options. Weber-Stephen is one of the oldest and most respected manufacturers of BBQ equipment and related accessories in the world. Weber grills and smokerscook beautifully and have great features that are clever, effective and easy to use. Even in this crowded marketplace, many consumers are still willing to pay more for the Weber name and they are rarely disappointed.

The battery-powered crossover ignition ensures that all your burners light with a single button push. The cook box of this grill comes with a Weber warranty of 10 years. An electronic crossover ignition helps light the burners with the push of a button. Interestingly enough, Weber’s Spirit series of older models cost more than the newer Spirit II series.

If you don’t, it can fall onto your food, so it’s best to keep it clean. The three burners put out up to 32,000 BTUs of cooking power, and when you add the extra sear station burner that was designed for the more expensive Genesis grills, you get an extra 7,500 BTUs. A good size cooking area at 427 square inches which can feed 5 to 7 people at a time, plus the extra capacity of 105 square inches on the warming rack.

The double doors feel substantial, and they swivel smoothly in their hinges. However, we’re bummed that Weber decided to move the propane tank hook and gauge from the side to under the firebox inside the cart. We can only imagine the crawling and contorting one must do to hook a full tank of liquid propane in that small cabinet. The Genesis E-325s has a bigger right-hand side table—23 inches wide by 17¾ inches long—than the previous version. That’s enough space to hold a half baking sheet, with room to spare.

The entire Spirit II line interfaces with Weber’s iGrill 3 smart thermometer ; this can alert you, through an app downloaded to your phone, when your food has reached certain temperatures. For now, we think a simple probe thermometer, like the ThermoWorks Dot, could alert you in a similar way for less cost. For our 2022 update, we relied mainly on market research and meta-analysis. Most new grills worth considering are still produced by the same companies whose products we’ve tested in previous years.

As well as areas to prepare food, hang utensils, and store accessories. The Weber Spirit II E-310 is another in a long time of fantastic Weber grills. It’s powerful enough to sear your Blackstone Adventure meat and fish to perfection and large enough to feed your hungry family and some friends. As long as you’re not cooking for a backyard full of people, you’ll be more than fine.

It is pretty easy to assemble and although you may require an assistant, the job should be done in under an hour. Look for grills in the $400 to $900 range with a cast-aluminum firebox (which holds heat well and won’t rust). If you want your grill to last, don’t cheap out on a budget model.
