Review: Bissell CrossWave Cordless Max 2554A Wet-Dry Vacuum Mop

The BISSELL CrossWave Cordless Max has a fairly spacious dirt compartment. It’s smaller than that of more conventional cordless uprights like the Shark Vertex Pro Powered Lift-Away, though it does have a max fill line that lets you know when it’s full. It’s important to note that this vacuum also has a 28 oz water tank for its mopping feature. We are very happy with the cross wave cordless floor cleaner. Despite having recently cleaned our wooden floor, a clean with the Cross Wave showed how much dirt had been missed.

As a dry vacuum, the CrossWave provides over 100 AW suction. You can use it to remove even the dirt that is set deep in carpets. On hard floors, it works impressively with its spinning brush roll and powerful air flow system. When used as a mop, it sprays cleaning liquid, loosens dirt and auctions it up into the dirty water tank with its strong vacuuming system.

Since you can’t configure it as a handheld vacuum, it isn’t suitable for cleaning pet hair from furniture. It also lacks a HEPA filter, and some allergens can escape from its exhaust. ±Delivery time depends upon inventory availability in local area, freight schedules to local stores, and in some cases the shipping address. It also has a hub for instructions, so you don’t have to hold on to the paper manual.

I bought this machine as I was hating th fact that every time I mopped I would see streaks and also the after I was using was disgusting after one use. Would be great if it had an option to also use as corded. It always runs out of battery before I finish big areas. The control buttons are placed within easy reach, on the handle. You get to operate the vacuum without struggling to find anything, which is a commendable design. The controls are also easy to interpret and only a few, which further eases the task to operate the vacuum.

That’s quite an ample space that makes the CrossWave suitable to clean the average home. Because the water in the two tanks doesn’t mix, you achieve the best cleaning results when using this device from Bissell. You’re always using clean and fresh solution which leaves surfaces looking sparkling clean and smelling dyson robot vacuum pleasant. If you have pets, this is a feature you wouldn’t want your cleaning device to miss. A 36V battery runs the appliance, one of the most powerful to be used on a Bissell cordless cleaning device. With this kind of electric power, you can expect the Bissell CrossWave to clean every type of surface.

I followed the directions for self clean and took the vaccum apart between use. I used several cycles of the self clean with shark cordless appropriate amount of cleaning solution and water levels. The brush will not come clean enough to clean my tile floors.

From one for pets and general sanitizing to one for multi-surface and wood floors, there’s something for your every need. The BISSELL CrossWave Cordless Max offers good battery performance. It can run for almost 40 minutes on a single charge, which should give you enough time to clean most rooms without running out of charge. It doesn’t offer any distinct suction power modes that would drain its battery any faster, though using its detergent dispersal function continuously might drop its runtime slightly.
