From the BBB reviews “this is not what you are used to hearing” is not a true statement. Sunny fitness has many of the similar BBB complaints that sadly I found out after my purchase. Sunny fitness will be hearing from me again when the belt I put on needs replaced again. After a week they advised to diagnose by sending me a YouTube video link to take off guard and do various things with belt, flywheel, etc… to try and figure out the specific issue.
Finding a 55kg person cycling at 18mph outdoors for one hour will burn 660kcal, compared to 490 calories while clocking 150 watts on a rowing machine (we make that one-nil in the rowing vs cycling debate). If you don’t feel like dropping Peloton cash on something you’re not sure you’re going to use that much, or Costway Folding Treadmill you want to start a fitness routine with minimal bells and whistles, the Sunny bike could work for you. This $300 bike is not going to hold up against a $1,000-plus one. It’s not going to provide the immersive experience that connected bikes do , and it has a few quirks that may make it a non-starter for some.
You control the resistance with a simple dial, which transitions well between levels, but as there is no screen or cadence checker it’s impossible to know exactly what speed or resistance you are at. This is a shame, as it would be good to know the intensity you are working at – especially if you are following an online class and being told to be at a certain level. The Sunny Health & Fitness bike comes with front transportation wheels, so it’s easily portable. It also doesn’t need to be plugged in, so you don’t need a power source nearby.
All Sunny Health and Fitness treadmills are designed for home use, so the best one depends on your needs. If you’re on a strict budget, the Foldable Walking Compact Treadmill maxkare treadmill is probably a good choice for you. However, if you want a model with more advanced features, the Premium Folding Auto-Incline Smart Treadmill is a better option.
