I used to keep it on high for 9 mins, then the rest of 30 mins on medium. No matter what vegetable I used it was always ready after 30 minutes. And the fact that its multifunctional and easy 2 use. Got this as a gift 4 my mother, and she loves it. I highly recommend this 4 anyone looking 4 high quality, but without the high price tag.
