Ozark Trail 16-Person 23 5 x 18.5 Cabin Camping Tent

Even inexperienced users were able to set it up within 5 minutes. Frankly, weather-resistant backpacking tents with spacious interiors at an affordable price are hard to find. This product from Ozark does a great job of balancing all the factors and delivers a good package. Overall, if you don’t like tents that take a long time to set up, this one deserves a closer look. Setting up the screen room and attaching the rainfly does take some extra time.

They claim they are weather tested, but I feel they don’t include rain or wind as elements of the weather. It sucked the trip the camping everything because the damn zipper broke and I got beast up on by mosquitoes and bugs. A lover of the ozark trail canopy outdoors, and especially the mountains, Spencer has always enjoyed pushing people to step outside their comfort zones. His mission is to help others get out of their homes, push their limits, and to have fun staying active in nature.

Each tent provides ample room for average-sized families or larger families with the 16-person tent. It’s not suitable for large family gatherings, such as the Base Camp tent I reviewed above, but it’s an excellent choice for camping-glad families who need an easy-to-assemble and transport tent. With a center height of 78 inches, you can move around ozark trail tents comfortably inside the tent. Set up the two included room dividers to further help to keep things organized—or for a little more privacy. If you like to keep the inside of the tent clean, the attached mud mat is a gentle reminder to clean your shoes before entering. The screen door is also covered with a removable cover to protect the entrance.

Although Core tents are slightly more expensive than Ozark Trail, they still remain as an affordable option. Furthermore, Core features many similar tents to Ozark Trail, such as the instant tents that come pre-assembled. When it comes to hot weather, Ozark Trail does not fail with ventilation. Most of the tents feature large windows and mesh ceilings that enable you to create a cross-wind—ideal for summer use.

This is a six-person tent, featuring one large space and measures 10 by 9 feet. It can fit two queen-sized airbeds and has a center height of 68 inches. This tent features three windows, ceiling panels, and one large entryway. It includes a gear loft, hanging organizer, and e-port access. It is not an instant tent, although if you want that, look below to see it’s brother (6 person instant cabin tent).

It is the easiest if two people do it together, in such a way all can be done in 20 minutes or so. Then start adding the 3 poles for the main dome part in the hexagon room. You have sleeves there so when all poles are in place make sure to connect them together with a strap in the center of the structure. There are also 6 poles that go along the perimeter of the hexagon (see the picture above), so these are next to be added. You have hub elements in the corners of the hexagon and they will help in connecting these roof poles with the 6 metal vertical leg poles.
