OZARK TRAIL COMMERCIAL WHITE CANOPY TOP

To test out the Ozark Trail Thermos line, I used the baseline temperature of 185 degrees Fahrenheit for all of the products I tested. My goal was to see how long I could keep a cup of coffee warm and if there would be variation in temperatures over time across the tumblers. I also used two of the 22oz Tumblers, one with the standard open mouth lid and one with a closed, spill proof lid. Sturdy, super easy to set up, Nice carrying case on wheels, great price for how solid this tent is. Used for my son’s open house, had up for 3 days leading up to the event, and withstood light rain very well. The Yeti has the most streamlined design of the three coolers, staying true to the original Yeti look and feel.

It was a little challenging putting it up the first time but still took about 10 minutes. Bought to use the 4-person connected and figured it’d be better to do a 10’x20′ canopy instead of 2 10’x10′ canopies. The height of the inside leaves you in awe of the amount of room that’s under the roof.

There is no information about a waterproof column, so it doesn’t seem waterproof. This means it can repel a very small amount of rainfall, like light ozark trail tent precipitation. With this model, you receive a free carry bag with wheels for easier transport, and 4 stakes and ropes to tie and secure it down.

A definite smart design choice, the ceiling vents are a massive advantage for Ozark Trail Canopy and ultimately have two purposes. It’s typically used by families, couples, or groups of friends going to outdoor events, but we can see it being used Ozark Trail Camping Chairs for more commercial purposes. A couple of elements make it standout from a regular shelter, like the upper vents in the roof and the upgraded all-steel structure. Keep up on innovative new product and our always evolving features and technology.

Most new tents incorporate this ventilated canopy design to increase airflow and reduce the trapping of hot air, helping to keep those in the shade cooler and more comfortable. The weight of this Ozark Trail is lighter than most of the same size alternative steel frame canopy tents, coming in right about 29 lbs. From a positive perspective, the lightweight design increases portability which is certainly important in carrying the tent to its intended location. From a negative perspective, the weight is indicative of a lack of high quality material and components used throughout the shelter. The included carrying bag does not have wheels to aid in transportation, but at only 29 lbs.

The rotomolding process entails heating plastic pellets which coat the interior of a mold while it is spun around in a number of different directions at a very consistent pace. The mold is kept on the move during both the heating and coating phases as well as the cooling phase. The coolers remained in the same location for the duration of the 6 day test, only being opened to snap daily progress pictures. The Pelican also features a different pull handle than the Yeti and Ozark coolers as well.

One could, in theory, purchase a new Ozark canopy every year (which they might need to!) and still come out ahead over the years vs. purchasing a more expensive alternative. It’s worth highlighting that despite the advertised dimensions of the 10×10 Ozark Trail, because this is a slant leg shelter the top only measures 8×8. The benefit of the slanted legs is that these tents are more stable laterally which can increase the stability of the frame and make it less prone to toppling, an important benefit if on a windy beach.

Ozark Trail Canopies

This large canopy gives 200 sq ft of coverage and features an easy-up design with telescoping legs, so it can be set up in just a matter of minutes. It also has a heavy-duty water-resistant canopy and rust-resistant legs, making it a great choice for cover on party days with rain in the forecast! One thing we love about Ozark Trail canopy tents are the accessories that can be added to the shelters. These include sidewalls, weight bags, and a host of other great add-ons that can really increase the use and versatility of the canopy tent. Perhaps our two favorites are camping tent additions that connect to the frame of the shelter and leverage the stability of the 10×10 frame to support a camping tent structure. I’ll be totally honest, I was not expecting this cooler to be as nice as it was.

The canopy top itself comes with a handy mesh pocket for storing your smaller items. Its 112-inch center height gives you plenty of room to create an entertainment space for your outdoor furniture and guests. Whether you are hosting a barbecue, attending a sporting event, or spending a day at the beach, you will be able to take your 10-foot by 10-foot Ozark Trail Instant Canopy anywhere. The canopy fabric is made of a lightweight denier polyester, offering water resistant features and 50+ UPF, which we love. Being protected from the suns harmful UVB rays is probably why you wanted a canopy tent in the first place, and this Ozark Trail tent meets all criteria in this department. The one complaint we have is that there is no vents in the fabric at the peak to release the build up of hot air under the canopy.

I began with my initial 185 Degrees Fahrenheit temperature and tested each Tumbler 2 hours after placing the water inside, 4 hours after placing the water inside and 12 hours after placing the water inside. I tested the temperature using a Weber meat thermometer which was $15 off the shelf. I used plain water which I boiled to temperature and placed inside each of the Tumblers and immediately closed with the provided lids. If you love espresso or plan to use the Tumbler for a cold beverage, the 10oz Ozark Trail Tumbler is going to be a great option for you. Many outdoorsmen have taken their infield coffee preparation to the next level making pour overs or using a coffee press. If you plan to do something that is more in line with a high end coffee shop, you should consider this Tumbler.
