I feel like Intensement does to LVEB what À la Folie does to La Nuit Tresor. They’re balmy, sweet, red-tinted benzoin and red berry versions of their pillar fragrances. Hello fans of LVEB Intensement – If you purchased genifique this last fall or winter, I would like to suggest that you bring it out of hibernation and try it in the heat of the late spring and summer. It’s glorious and you will probably get a different experience.
Girl next door scent or a bride/formal event. Pretty powdery but not in a baby powder way. It’s blended beautifully and feels mature but also girly. It’s really lovely if you like powerdy make up type scents. I can instantly feel the base notes of iris-sandalwood, Estee Lauder NIGHT REPAIR clean patchouli with the vanilla-raspberry top. It’s certainly not something out of this world or outstanding but I definitely appreciate modern crowd pleasers bothering with some good quality powdery notes and a robust balsamic base.

This is very different from the Estee Lauder makeup original. That said, I am surprised this that isn’t super fruity to me! The use of sandalwood in the base makes it a little creamy, so you get a beautiful semi gourmand dry down. Smells of a sweet velvety rose and litchi combination, blended with a very unique rhubarb note, which gives it a hint of sourness. This one is super long lasting and is a BIG compliment getter.
