Well done genifique, Idole was a flop but this is going to be very successful. Initially I get vanilla, heliotrope, pink pepper and raspberry, then within a few minutes the benzoin and sandalwood get in. Compared to the other flankers in the series it is a bit drier, heavier and more powdery. This is such a happy, uplifting little perfume! If this was someone’s signature scent, you’d easily be known as the girl who always smells so good.
Also, the patchouli gets too intense and a bit sour on my skin in the drydown. I have this problem often with patchouli, which is Estee Lauder makeup unfortunate, since it has ruined some good fragrances for me. LVEB Intensément opens as a very strong amber-raspberry with iris.
In the background a subtle note of benzoin. Less sweet than the classic, no patchouli. The perfume is smooth, powdery, balsamic and pleasant.
