There are two tanks to keep the dirty water and the clean water with solution separate. Right from the first sweep, the clean water tank dispenses water solution, and all the dirty water goes directly into the dirty water tank. On the other hand, using a vacuum or steam mop, you don’t require a lot of effort. What you need to do is- just fill the water tank and run the machine.
But you can get the vacuum cleaner to tidy up every type of surface. The mop head is 16.5-inch lengthwise and 4.5-inch in width. Thus, it covers and cleans large portions at one sweep. The mop head also has flexible rubber corners, which double up the protection for the hardwood flooring.
Unlike the CrossWave Multi Floor, the Pet Pro’s brush roll spins at 3,000RPM. It also features a HEPA grade filtration system that captures 99.9% of allergens such as pet dander, dust, pollen, etc. To test out the Max, I put it through a series of real-world tests, combining both vacuum and hard floor cleaning. First, I started by spreading a teaspoon of flour onto the kitchen floor, right up against the skirting board. Running the cleaner through on vacuum mode, it picked up most of it when running the head along the skirting.
The Max model has a bigger capacity and brush roll than the Pet and Cordless model. As I mentioned it is great for pet parents because you can easily pick-up pet hair that gathers along baseboards and in corners of your home. Plus, if your pets are coming in from outside you can clean up any dirt, etc. by using the water option for cleaing. The vaccumm keeps clean and dirty water separate and makes filling and disposing of water easy and you’ll you never clean with dirty water.
We found it a little frustrating when you’ve finished a big clean and you then need to grab a dustpan for the remnants. The dyson robot vacuum and Max have a cordless runtime of minutes with a 36V lithium-ion battery. Again, this isn’t great considering most cordless vacuums, like the Miele Triflex HX1 Cordless Vacuum for example, have a cordless runtime of about 60 minutes. The Bissell Crosswave Pet comes with a cord though, so that’s an option to consider if you’ve got large surface areas to cover.
The BISSELL CrossWave Cordless Max has a self-cleaning feature. The self-cleaning cycle helps maintain the machine’s cleaning performance by cleaning the brush roll and inside of the CrossWave, so there’s less clean-up after cleaning. Tineco iFloor ONE S3 is a great deal now that it has longer runtime compared to the CrossWave Cordless Max that offers 30 minutes runtime. It also boasts several bells and whistles that Bissell lacks, for example, iLOOP sensor technology and automatic water flow adjustment. The only problem is that it is not suitable for cleaning carpets. Last is the CrossWave 2554A Cordless Max, which is ideal for homeowners looking for a Bissell cordless wet and dry vacuum.
It’s a relatively tall device that consists of a large handle at the top to ensure you’ve got a good grip when you’re cleaning. That’s then attached to a metal pole that connects to the rest of the cleaner. Tineco brand does not recommend installing brushes from different series in one cleaner. They may not suit because of the fitting, size and diameter, or bristle type. Anyway, we recommend checking the compatibility of each brush separately in each case and get more information from the brand’s official sources.
