Just imagining, if your drone is miles away, suddenly the DJI Fly App freezes or quits unexpectedly, you might be getting a little bit of panic. DJI pioneered geofencing systems for its drones in 2013, using GPS position to warn or restrict drone operators from entering sensitive locations. As a responsible drone manufacturer, DJI has an ongoing commitment to enhance safe drone operations especially in locations that might raise aviation safety or security concerns. Even without any legal or regulatory requirement to implement geofencing, safety remains the top priority for DJI.
It has a straightforward work timeline wherein you can edit footage flexibly and precisely. Not to mention, it supports switching between portrait and landscape orientation, authorizing you to shoot and edit the way you prefer. However, it also contains its fair share of drawbacks like the limited manual camera setting that it recognizes. Even in its early state, the Mavic 3 is shaping up to be the best small drone for independent filmmakers; enthusiast and professional photographers; and successful vloggers.
Earlier versions of APAS worked well enough to fly around trees at a local park, but DJI promises that APAS 5.0 is much more capable.
