Men’s Mountain Bikes

Huffy Extent is a women’s hardtail mountain bike with disc brakes with an MSRP of just $250. My 10-year-old (4’10, 80-pound) had outgrown and worn out her three-year-old 20-inch bike. I couldn’t decide between a 24″ and a 26″ bike, so I went with the 24″. Even with the seat all the way back, it’s a perfect match for my baby, because there’s plenty of space for her to develop on this bike…even my 5’7″ 230 frame could easily ride this bike. I thought I’d have time to assemble the bike today after reading one review that said it took 30 minutes.

Considering all the components and the $300 MSRP, this bike won’t win any races. It’s not suitable for challenging trails, but it’s a great choice for laid-back riders who just want to explore off the beaten path. What we like about it the most is the funky design and lots of accessories. This bike comes with front and rear fenders, a kickstand, chainguard, rear rack, bottle holder, and handlebar bag. Mountain bikes are sold with both standard and non-standard handlebar configurations.

The adjustable seats have a padded ATB saddle, perfect for a comfortable ride. This bike is extremely easy to install as 90% of it comes pre-assemble. It also gives a manual where you’ll find everything about the installation process along with all the necessary equipment.

From then until 1949, Huffman continued to manufacture and sell bicycles under the “Dayton” brand. If you would like a robust and high-quality mountain bike, you may want to avoid Huffy and go for a brand that you find to be the schwinn bicycles most reliable. While the bikes are built well and are pretty durable, riding the Huffy bikes in a rough terrain may not fare well for the bike over time. Huffy bikes are easy to ride and maintain, and are comfortable to ride.

In 2004, Huffy sold its Huffy Sports division to Russell Corporation. Huffy Sports manufactured sporting goods, including the Hydra-Rib basketball systems used by the NBA. By 2006, Huffy had sold more than 100 million bicycles. After years schwinn bicycles of struggling against the cut-rate Chinese bicycles that set the price target guiding Walmart, Huffy essentially had become a Chinese-owned company. Today, the design, product development and marketing for Huffy is based in Dayton, Ohio.
