Weber grills are known for durability, and the brand’s willingness to provide a 10-year warranty with this grill is testament to Blackstone Adventure that. At 513 square inches, the Genesis II E-310’s grates offer roughly 20 percent more grilling surface versus the Spirit II E-310’s 424 square inches. That bumps you up from 12 to 15 or so burgers for a big party, or it lets you cook an ambitious, complete meal for a large family. But although the Genesis II looks much larger than the Spirit, in reality the differences are not huge. The Genesis II is 3 inches wider overall, and its grates are 25 by 19 inches versus the Spirit’s 23 by 18 inches. Both models have a fold-down side table that reduces their width to under 45 inches, for easier storage. We then oiled the grates and distributed a whole cut-up chicken—two each of breasts, thighs, drumsticks, and wings—skin side down.
Other than that, the packaging for this Weber grill was solid. Everything was contained in one large box, and it took two people to lift and carry char broil performance the package to our desired setup location. When we first opened the boxes that contained the parts to our new Weber grill, we were a bit confused.

If you only buy one thing, though, make it a fitted cover to protect your grill from rain, wind, snow, etc. It’s the easiest way to prolong the life of your new grill. Burner tubes are another area where food debris collects. Brush food away from the burner holes to keep the flames even.
