This is one of those perfumey smelling perfumes, sort of like those “classic” older fragrances where the notes don’t really smell anything like the actual authentic ingredients. No authentic white flowers or indoles or anything, just a nice perfume-y rendition of them. I’m not a fan of white floral in general in fragrances, especially tuberose, but hands down, this one by far has succeeded its purpose of convincing me otherwise. I started to like tuberose and jasmine NOW, from the moment I was introduced to “Woman” by coincidence. I play-tested this scent in the store while waiting for my husband to pick me up. After years of searching this is the perfume of perfumes.

Would make a beautiful signature perfume for some. By 1969, the Manhattan department store Bloomingdale’s sold Lauren’s men line exclusively. It was the first time that Bloomingdale’s had given a designer his own in-store shop. In 1971, Ralph Lauren Corporation launched a line of tailored shirts for women, which introduced the Polo player emblem, appearing on the shirt cuff. The first full women’s collection was launched the following year. This is a nice offering from Ralph Lauren.

Like the extremely sour candy which makes me feel nauseated. It has the sweetness with the fruit and orange blossom touches on just right with Woods and other elements, none punching you in the face but done thoughtfully. I do like the packaging for Woman by Ralph Lauren with its cute, gold flip cap, similar in design to Cartier’s Baiser Vole. The minimalist, black and white themed commercial featuring actress Jessica Chastain also makes it clear that this fragrance is being pushed towards the over 25 age group.

An independent South African company trademarked the Polo name and logo in South Africa. Also in October, Ralph Lauren Corporation has appointed former Obama administration consultant Valerie Jarrett to the board of directors. The RLX Golf collection draws inspiration polo dress shirts from the traditional aesthetic of Polo, updating it to create a modern sensibility focused on performance-driven design. From sophisticated styles to the most technologically advanced fabrics available, RLX Golf is the ultimate in functional luxury.

If you like Chloé or Pure Grace, I’d say to give this a shot as well. You could wear this to work without offending anyone. On me, it lasts all day, so I really appreciate that. This one I’ll always want in my collection.

Towards the heart, it becomes ever so slightly sweet, which will be sure to appeal to the current market. The dry-down is a very safe blend of softened pear, orange blossom and sandalwood. To me, smells like a clean, mature woman. I get pear and rhubarb most of the way through. It isn’t unpleasant but isn’t anything special either. I think I’d enjoy it more if the top notes were more in balance with the middle and base notes, as I definitely prefer it after it’s been mellowing for a good while.

The orange blossom emerges somewhere in between, but blends in well. This has admirable lasting power and gets more cozy as it wears on. The scent itself is wonderful, I’m actually releaved that for once a designer has made a scent which isn’t a gourmand or has a lot of sugar and confectionary in it. I can’t detect any of the hazelnut or the rose notes on my skin however.

I get tons of compliments with people wondering what I am wearing. I have purchased the rollerball and the spray and prefer the rollerball. It stays on longer and sticks to my clothes so I can enjoy it for hours.

At Belk, you can find a versatile collection of Lauren Lauren Ralph Lauren fashion choices that can perfectly match your mood and style. Feel the excitement when you put on a pair of Lauren Ralph Lauren jeans or pants or slip on a dress that fits you just right. Maybe if you like overwhelming white florals, this could be a hit with you.

That’s not to say it’s generic though, because it isn’t IMO. It just means it’s not girly or too mature – for those who like to attach ages to perfumes I’d say it would work for anyone late 20s to their 60s. Then, I don’t know why, but I can smell some kind of ylang ylang, which I do not like. The hazelnut can be found in the dry down with a deep sniff and under a thick floral layer. This is too “perfumy” for me, almost giving me a hairspray/synthetic vibe.
