Beats Studio3 Wireless review

When you don’t have anything playing, it’s a distractingly loud white noise, though when you do it obviously disappears along with most other things in your environment. I think Sony has hands down the best and most effective noise canceling tech at the moment, and the Beats Studio 3 don’t really rival it. I can hear a lot more of the train noise on the London underground with the Beats headphones than I can with the Sony alternative. Even so, drowning out the hubbub of an open-plan office or some other simple task shy of taking a long-haul flight is no problem for the Beats cans.

They have almost twice the battery life at 23 hours of continuous playback on a single charge. They also only take about 30 minutes more than the previous model to fully charge. They’re advertised to have a quick charge feature which gives you about 2.5 hours of playback from 10 minutes of charging. That said, battery life can vary depending on usage, and your experience may vary. Unfortunately, they don’t have passive playback, so if the battery is completely dead, you won’t be able to use the headphones.

However, they’re still somewhat big over-ears and can slide a bit depending on the intensity of your workout routine. The noise cancellation is strong enough to use on public transit, and they’re sufficiently comfortable and easy to use. The Fast Fuel charging feature delivers three hours of battery life for ten minutes of charge. When opening the package, you can tell that someone or something put a lot of thought into the design, and we were genuinely impressed with the style – if only it were enough to redeem the headphones. However, the innards are almost identical to what we’ve seen with other wireless headphones. They feature the same box with branded sleeve, opening to reveal the contents inside.

Apple users can’t use the included in-line microphone cable or 3.5mm audio port. The Studio3 Wireless have middling sound quality, at best. Full review here) get right – but at least Beats accomplishes the bare minimum.

The Beats by Dre Studio3 Wireless is a great gadget, but was hard to justify for the original $350 USD price tag. Today, however, you can easily find this headset for less than $200 USD, making it a much more appealing, albeit outdated, option. Easily connect to Android devices via Bluetooth® right out of the box.

The Beats Studio3 Wireless are somewhat better headphones than the Beats Studio Wireless. They have the same stylish and polished design, but the Studio3 have a better control scheme and improved noise cancellation. They sound quite similar, but the Studio3 sound slightly better overall.

They have solid bass, mids and highs are good and they can get extremely loud. Lastly, we noticed the Studio3 have a better microphone and clearer sound for phone calls. In our test, we walked down the sidewalk of a busy street and the person on the other end had no problems whatsoever hearing. So while I don’t feel like Dr. Dre, I am walking away very impressed by the Beats Studio3 headphones.

Class 1 Bluetooth support means extended range beyond the typical 33 feet Bluetooth allows—our headphones stayed connected through walls and doors, approximately 45 feet, before we lost connection. The Bose QuietComfort 35/QC35 Wireless 2016 are a better headset overall than the Beats Studio3 Wireless. The Bose have a more comfortable over-ear fit and stronger noise cancellation that will isolate better in noisy environments. On the upside, the Beats have a better wireless range and a faster charging battery life than the Bose. The Beats are also a bit more stable for sports and some will prefer their sleek and stylized over-ear design over the Bose’s somewhat bland but more professional look.

I was on the fence about purchasing them, but I’m glad I did. The fact that I can blast ANY song and not have any distortion is the best thing beats flex review ever. Three people at my work have bought them after listening to mine once. Activation of 4G LTE/5G phone on 5G Get More plan req’d.
