The Keurig K-Mini Plus doesn’t come with all the bells and whistles of some of the larger and more advanced Keurig coffee makers, but that’s okay. For example, the removable drip tray has a chrome accent, whereas the K-Mini is completely plastic. Without the “Strong Brew” feature, the water travels through the grounds at a standard flow rate. However, using the “Strong Brew” feature, the water spends longer in contact with the coffee grounds thanks to a slower flow rate. Therefore, if you prefer strong coffee, the K-Mini Plus is by far your best option. In the grand scheme of things, I guess that’s quick enough, but it feels long while you’re staring at the machine, jonesing for your cuppa.
