Keurig Mini Vs Mini Plus

For starters, the K-Supreme Plus has a super sleek design and yet has a 78-ounce removable reservoir. You can get nine cups of coffee out of this Keurig before you have to even think about refilling it. Thank to the K-Supreme’s Plus multistream technology, your Keurig is equipped to extract more flavor and aroma from every brew compared to the other Keurig models. It also gives you the option to program up to three individual brewing preferences, saving you more time where you literally thought time could not possibly be saved. The Keurig K-Mini Plus doesn’t come with all the bells and whistles of some of the larger and more advanced Keurig coffee makers, but that’s okay. This machine is meant to be small and compact and to be used for single cups of hot coffee.

And while we know July 12 and 13 will likely be the epicenter of Prime Day deals, they probably aren’t going to be the only days you can expect to find some Prime Day Keurig deals. The K-Mini is Keurig’s smallest, yet still quite mighty model, and if you’re a coffee lover living in a small space, it might be exactly Hamilton Beach the Keurig you’re looking for. At less than 5 inches wide, the K-Mini fits just about anywhere, and its sleek design elevates your kitchen’s decor. This is the ideal Keurig for people living alone or for households with only one coffee drinker. I’ll admit to being torn about whether I like the Keurigs or not.

This is definitely the easiest Keurig Mini to date. Push the button, wait a few seconds, then enjoy delicious coffee courtesy of Keurig. Another great feature is the built in storage unit to hold all of your pods. You can keep up to 9 Keurig Mini K-Cup pods and use them immediately. You don’t have to go fussing around in the drawers anymore to find your coffee pods.

For example, the removable drip tray has a chrome accent, whereas the K-Mini is completely plastic. Without the “Strong Brew” feature, the water travels through the grounds at a standard flow rate. However, using the “Strong Brew” feature, the water spends longer in contact with the coffee grounds thanks to a slower flow rate. Therefore, if you prefer strong coffee, the K-Mini Plus is by far your best option. In the grand scheme of things, I guess that’s quick enough, but it feels long while you’re staring at the machine, jonesing for your cuppa.

This has been true in previous Prime Day events, with an unofficial Prime Day “shopping season” now taking place. Check out all the special deals from Cuisinart Coffee our podcast sponsors! The Boat Galley can be overwhelming with over 1,200 articles. I’m not at all a fan of the plastic ones you fill yourself.

The biggest feature of the Keurig Mini is its simplicity. Hundreds of thousands of people across the globe love this coffee maker because it is simply easy to use. Load any K-Cup you want, push a single button, and your coffee is delivered instantaneously.

Add an additional 2oz of water to the reservoir to ensure the minimum fill level has been met, then press the brew button. The larger more expensive k cup pod coffee makers range anywhere from a 4 oz shot up to a 12 oz shot. The larger the shot you pull with the machine, the more watered down it will be, not to mention that then you brew over ice, it will melt the ice making the coffee more watered down. The removable drip trays in both models comes in handy here as you can just remove the whole plate after a spill and wash it over running water in the sink. Because of their small designs, there are fewer parts to keep cleaning.

Home Grounds expert team has dug deep on this one, so that you can know for sure whether it’s a worthwhile buy for you. The K Mini Plus has an average lifespan of five years when used once daily. And with regular Cuisinart Coffee maintenance and cleaning, you can ensure it functions well over that time frame. Considering the small size of the K Mini Plus, we have to give the brand credit for the convenient features it includes.

The outer shell is plastic, so it doesn’t feel as premium as some other machines, but the overall quality is actually quite nice if you’re good with that. To keep your Mini in good shape, it’s recommended to clean the external parts or the brewer regularly and descaling it every three to six months. The brewer uses all regular k-cups, branded and non-branded.
