Test Yourself DC is a COVID-19 At Home Testing Kit that allows you to take a COVID-19 test at home without having to wait in line at a testing site. Test Yourself DC kits are available for pick-up at 36 locations around the city. It’s best to get testing through your provider, but if you need to use public testing, you can save time in line by visiting coronavirus.dc.gov/register to create a profile from your smartphone, tablet, or computer. In January 2022, President Biden committed to making one billion at-home tests available to the American people for free, including half-a-billion available for ordering at COVIDTests.gov.

Check your test kit’s instructions for specific next steps. If you test negative, you should test again within a few days with at least 24 hours between tests. If you experience any of these symptoms, call your healthcare provider. Please follow the quarantine directions from your healthcare provider.
