Increased consumption of cleaning fluid.Drain of the Clean& Charge station is clogged.Clean the drain with a wooden toothpick. Insert shaver into the Clean & Charge Station and push it to the rear side of the station . Clean directly after shaving to allow enough time for drying. Shaver head is regularly cleaned with water but not lubricated.
It will clean and sanitize as well as dry and charge. That’s one of the biggest advantages of the 5190cc. It keeps the shaver like new for longer before you’ll have to buy a replacement shaving head. It’s a foil type shaver that works in straight and forth passes over the face like other foil type shavers. Before the first use, plug your shaver for recharging the battery and do not unplug it before 2 hours although the battery is already recharged .
You can also use it in the shower, and it has a textured grip to keep it from slipping from your hands as you shave. I initially Braun Series 5 purchased this shaver just replace my cheap Aldi one. I am so impressed with it that I felt compelled to write this review.
To clarify, you have to detach the foil chamber of the shaver to attach the trimming head. And again, you have to detach the trimmer to attach the foil chamber of the new Series 5 shavers.
