Casio G

I sincerely prefer the mineral glass over the sapphire crystal because of the way it behaves over time but that’s more of a personal opinion. The stainless steel resin case is of incredibly good quality and trust me it can be reliable for lots of years from the moment you buy it. The band material is a good-feeling resin that Casio pretty much used in all G-Shock with some exception, so nothing new here. As the previous model, the G-Steel also features a „hands out of the way” function which will put the hands in a position that will let you see all of the background indicators.

Recall that aBlogtoWatch offered a hands-on debut look at this G-Shock Mudmaster GG-B100 here with another colorway when it was first announced back in March. With double LED light and hand shift feature, the G Shock Mud Master GSG-100-1ADR Price is set for $296. After introducing the Quad sensor Casio brings for you the twin sensor series, a tougher one to wear while working in deep and dirty locations. Not to forget that like other G Shock Mud Master Quad Sensor series, this can also be connected to your smart devices via app or Bluetooth connectivity.

The rugged dust and mud-resistant watch, which is designed to survive in the toughest environments, has also been re-configured to come in 1.9mm slimmer than previous versions. Anyone considering the Mudmaster will be aware it’s a large watch and must be comfortable wearing one, but naturally, it will look massive on a smaller wrist. G-Shock watches are made to be worn loose (yes, if you’re doing the strap up tightly, you shouldn’t be) and the GG-B100 is quite top-heavy and often tried to slip over the top of my wrist. The strap is very stiff at first which doesn’t help, but should mold to your wrist over time.

Another factor that plays into its poor legibility is that this particular Mudmaster uses a negative display for the digital readout. It’s hard to use any of the functions during the day much less the night. However, while you might think that anything that keeps out water would easily be able to prevent mud ingress as well, the small particles in mud and dust present challenges of their own. These “mud-resistant” watches g shock watch use a special “filter” behind the buttons and a steel case back covered by a layer of plastic resin. In testing, mud didn’t seem to hurt the watch’s functions at all, but it is hard to completely clean from the many nooks, crannies, and facets of the Mudmaster’s complex case. In addition to offering shock resistance, the watch is constructed for mud resistance and is ready to withstand working amid mud and rubble.

This means that it is powered by batteries, but for convenience’s sake, this watch is also solar-powered, meaning it is powered by Solar and ambient light. This generates energy to the battery and thus eliminates the need for replacing the batteries. Casio has seamlessly integrated the solar panel into the dial which is a nice feature as on many other solar watches, the solar panels are quite visible, which affects the overall appearance of the watch. Casio G-SHOCK Mudmaster GGB100-1B ReviewJump forward 35 years and I’m now the pilot and outdoor adventurer like my father was and I’m here reviewing a watch that looks as futuristic now as the original CASIO I had back then.

This means a chronograph function, alarms, countdown timer, stopwatch. The top right button is used for the compass and the bottom right is used for the altimeter. The case features 5 different buttons in order to operate the different functions. To operate this, you unscrew the protection cap and pull it outwards. This will allow you to adjust the standard functions such as the time.

Stainless steel has been used in the upper part and a shock absorbing resin is employed in the lower part to ameliorate on every impact or shock. Speaking of the barometer, it does more than just warn about the weather. The digital pressure sensor registers differences in air pressure and using the barometer position, you can see the baby g shock pressure trend and the air pressure presented on the screen. The altimeter function works by the simple concept of measuring the air pressure and this calculating the height you are at. This makes it possible to use the air pressure to calculate altitude. When it comes to the altimeter, you do this by entering a reference altitude.
