But there is certainly more scope to wear this in a business environment. The carbon fiber that is used in the GA-2100 case makes the watch more durable and lighter, not to mention the case thickness of 11.8 mm – the series can be called the thinnest among all G-Shock with an analogue dial.
An additional window shows the current day of the week, and more detailed information about the date can be viewed on the digital display. The set of features here is only basic , but they are enough for most everyday tasks. Running through the functions and setting the watch is straightforward – with a bit of optional theater. Once the time is set, the analog hands motor around the dial to the correct time.
Carbon Core Guard is not new, though, it has appeared in several other G-Shock models like the GA2000 series and the new Master of G Mudmaster GGB100 watches. We can see Casio deployment this new tough tech to future timepieces. From what we understand, carbon core guard revolved around having inner protective bumper around the electronic module as opposed encasing the entire watch. This timepiece is dedicated to expressing your coolness scale at a level higher than your friends.
If you like G-Shock, you could start a collection and use another model to utilize the digital features. The GA-2100 isn’t ideal, and depending on your requirements, you may be better off with another G-Shock model. For one, it does not have an auto light feature that allows you to turn your wrist to activate the backlight.
