Skywalker 15′ Round Sports Arena Trampoline and Enclosure

The first thing I noticed when I opened the boxes and grabbed pieces of the frame is how solid and thick the frame pieces are. I could tell right away that this trampoline would be sturdy and sit in place. This is important because our old junior trampoline was getting too small for 8-year-old boys. I’m sure glad it’s gone and replaced with our new Skywalker trampoline.

While a smaller trampoline is perfect if you have limited outdoor space, it’s also worth considering the inconvenience of a smaller jumping area. You may purchase a smaller model, for instance, only to upgrade soon after when you realize the first trampoline simply isn’t large enough. After reading a manual, assembly takes only 1.5 hrs and it is possible by one person only. The quality of the mat is fantastic – it provides smooth and high bounce and we are confident that will last several years. The frame of this trampoline is made of heavy gauge galvanized steel. The frame will hold up to rain and even snow without any problems.

It’s likely too large to fit inside anything other than a gym. Given that it is an outdoor toy, it is bound to get dirty. The kids climb on and off the trampoline in socks, tracking leaves, dirt, and more as they go. It’s easy to just sweep off any leaves or pine needles, though. We were really impressed with the design of this trampoline, especially compared to a more traditional one.

This means that the structure of the frame can withstand heavy use and won’t twist or warp with repeated jumping by excited kids—a must when it comes to trampolines. The springs are good quality steel and do not get stretch out from extra weight. Also, the jump mat is a high quality and tight weave to provide an exceptional bounce. Another unique feature to this trampoline is how the durable net enclosure connects. It then connects to the jump mat with a patented button-hole feature connecting to the jumping surface at each V-ring which eliminates gaps. This ensures no figures or toes get into the springs.

Absolutely not, but we don’t need such a trampoline. We just needed something with a decent bounce, room enough for two kids to bounce safely and a decent safety net. We wanted a trampoline because we had a hunch it would provide hours of fun for our kids. The problem we faced is that the only flat area on our backyard was small. At most it could accommodate a 9-foot wide trampoline.

Once we had everything properly aligned, the actual erection of the safety bumpers and netting was easy. It just takes a little muscle behind the bolts and some patience, as you’ll be adding individual elastic ties underneath the trampoline to ensure the bumper doesn’t shift. Unless you pay extra for expert assembly, putting the trampoline together will fall on you. The assembly of the many trampolines is fairly straightforward, but the instructions can be confusing. Other models may be more complicated, with assembly requiring at least two people and clocking in at more than three hours. Galvanized steel frame contributes to a solid and sturdy construction.

Our kids can jump far higher than our former junior trampoline. I’ve jumped as well (I weigh 220 lbs.) and it accommodated my just fine (even though skywalker trampoline 15 the specs say the max weight is 200 lbs. – I guess I’ll have to limit my participation). Is this as good as a professional gymnastics trampoline?

Also, the fact that it is a large trampoline and still affordable is a nice plus. It is kind of annoying that some colors cost more than others, but that is being picky. Are you seeking a large trampoline then your standard 8 or 12 ft models, but don’t want to break the bank? Then look no farther than the Skywalker Trampolines 15 feet Round Trampoline. Item prices do not include fees for pickup, shipping or delivery unless noted in the item description.

The price tag for this trampoline ranges from about $500 to $800, depending on the options and where you find it. It’s on the slightly higher end for trampolines, but the solid construction and unique shape make it worth the cost. The huge jump surface means there’s plenty of room to jump, tumble, and ‘crack the egg,’ even when the neighborhood kids hear the laughter and head over to join in the fun.
